Each year our Presiding Bishop sends a letter to all clergy requesting their parish participation in the Good Friday Offering. This Offering, which has been collected since 1922, is gathered and distributed to the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East, which includes the Dioceses of Jerusalem and Cyprus and the Gulf, all members of the Anglican Communion. In this year’s letter, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry encourages all parishes to participate with these words,

“Our journey as Episcopalians also includes remembering our sister and brother Christians in the Holy Land who maintain the faith which we hold so dear. Their witness is an inspiration.”
