This is a quick word from your stewardship chairman.  Thanks to each of you who returned your pledge cards for 2017.  As it stands, more than half of us have increased our giving from 2016. (Yea!)  If you have not yet turned in a pledge, please bring it or send it by mail as soon as possible.  The finance committee of the Vestry is anxious to begin shaping our budget for 2017, which builds up the church and extends the Kingdom of Christ in our area.
A special thanks to those of you who responded so generously to our “13^th“Appeal.  As you will see from the treasurer’s report, the shortfall to our budget that we feared has been cut in half due to generosity and the careful spending management by your vestry and treasurer.
