Redeemer Montessori School
Redeemer Montessori School (RMS) was founded in 1978 with five students and has grown steadily since. In 1998, the school moved from portable buildings into the permanent Story Hall, built under the leadership of Father Mark and Susan Story (director from 1992-2002).
From 2002 to 2012, Jennifer Davy was the director and expanded the school curriculum to include upper elementary grades 4 through 6. Shanon Flowers-Tillery, the current director added the toddler house for children between 18 months and 3 years.
RMS is a vibrant asset to our parish, where there are currently four preprimary, two lower elementary, an upper elementary classroom, and the toddler house. We have twelve full time teachers and 150 students enrolled.
RMS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and in 2008 gained full American Montessori Society accreditation, the first in Dallas County. As the titular headmaster of the school, the rector provides counsel to the school director, and the vestry serves as the school board.
